Capt. Justin

Ahoy! I'm Capt. Justin! I grew up in the small New England town of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Having grown up along the Atlantic coastline, I became fascinated at a  young age with the ocean and all of its natural beauty. As young boy I attended summer camp on Children's Island, A 29 acre YMCA day camp about 1 nautical mile NE of Marblehead Light. My parents would drop me off at the landing on Marblehead Harbor every summer morning so I could catch the ferry out to camp. As we made our journey out to the island I loved looking at the colorful lobster buoys and the unique names of all the boats in the harbor.

When I grew older I continued to remember those trips out to camp. I became more and more fascinated with not just the the sights I saw but more what it took to operate the boat. From there I grew very fond of recreational boating. I love everything about it, the wind in my face the rolling waves, the fish jumping out of the water, the wake behind me, the sound of my outboard and everything else the experience has to offer. I'm on my boat every chance I get! Over the past few years its become more and more evident that one of my many dreams was to be a charter boat Captain.

However, that is easier said than done. For the past 10 years my beautiful wife, Melanie and I have owned and operated a handmade artisan pottery company called, Vegetabowls. A line of functional pottery molded from real fruits and vegetables! At our studio I wear a lot of hats! I'm the casting manager, technician, event planner, sales guru, customer support extraordinaire, amongst other things. I'm also a Dad to two wonderful kids, 2 dogs, 2 fish and 3 birds! Long story short I'm kind of a busy guy! But I love boating, I love building businesses, I love people and I'm a dreamer! So, I went after it and got my  U.S.C.G. 25-ton Master Captains License and founded Siesta Key Boat Charters, LLC. A full service private charter company for up to 6 passengers. We service Venice Inlet to Longboat Key and all in between. Come enjoy a day with us on our 24' runabout named Imagine!

In the words of John Lennon, "You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us"!
